Yesterday's Photo Shoot

Yesterday I did a photo shoot with a real photographer.  It was a very graphic shoot with everything from lingerie and sexy poses to full on nudes.  I'm not the most photogenic person, and I'm very critical of my photos, so I hope they turn out okay.  The photographer was a friend, so at least I trusted him and felt very comfortable in my nakedness.  It may take a couple of weeks to get the final photos back, but when they come back I will post them on my website at www.diaryofaunicorn.com.  Hope you will all check them out.

Right now I need to get out of bed because I have a playdate with a new couple that I met last week.  I'm looking forward to it.  They are relatively new to the lifestyle, so we may take things slowly, or we may jump in with both feet.  I will take my cues from them.  Who knows?  Maybe they will be open to getting a few photos, too.

Post Date with Mr. M

So last night was the date with Mr. M.  What can I say?  It was everything I expected and more.  We went to his place to have a drink and relax a bit.  Chemistry was definitely in the air.  It wasn't long after that we moved to the bedroom to get to know each other on a different level.

Date with Mr. M

A couple of weeks ago I went on an actual date with Mr. M.  It was a real date, and I rarely go on real dates.  I go for coffee meet and greets or maybe a drink, but never a full on dinner with someone I don't know.  But he was insistent that he wanted to take me out even though we had never met.  I threw caution to the wind and said yes.

He showed up looking even better in person, and I was very pleasantly surprised.  We went to Carraba's for dinner, and the conversation flowed well and smoothly.  We talked a lot about the swinging lifestyle and found we had a lot in common.  I was very attracted to him, and I thought the feeling was mutual but wasn't sure.

When he took me home he was a gentleman.  He kissed me goodnight and left it at that.  I had told him that I had some major dental work coming up so I wouldn't be available for a little while, but I didn't want him to think I wasn't interested.  It turns out he was interested, too.

So tonight we are getting together again.  I am not sure how the evening is going to go.  He is picking me up, but are we going straight to his place to hang out, going to get a drink or something?  My preference would be to go to his place and just relax, maybe order a pizza...after we get to know each other a little better physically.  Yes, I hope the night includes sex.  I think it is on his mind, too, so we should be on the same page.

I will post again tomorrow about how our "date" goes and see if everything lives up to expectations.  I definitely have high hopes for this one.  Wish me luck.

Pet Peeve of the Day

I get so sick of guys constantly bemoaning the fact that they can't get laid, that there are no "real" women out there looking for fun, or that they (we) are all flaky.  Well I'm here to tell you that in my world it's the other way around.

As a free-spirited swinger I "meet" virtually a lot of men.  I say men because this doesn't usually happen with couples or women.  My guideline is to meet first in a public place to make sure they aren't ax murderers, psychos, or weirdos, and also to gauge physical chemistry.  At that point, many are asking for a second date with the possibility of sex on the table.  If I'm attracted then I am totally open to that.

Lately, though, men have just been plain fucking lazy or inconsiderate.  At this point I book a lot of dates.  I even double book because I know from first-hand experience that at least half of the men are going go cancel or chicken out.  I understand that things come up, and I'm cool with that.  What I'm not cool with is last minute cancellations for no reason after I've already gotten ready for the date.

So men, if you aren't getting laid, consider yourselves to blame if you are perpetuating this behavior.  I have little to no tolerance for this.  If you don't confirm, don't bother calling back because I've lost interest.  Out of sight really is out of mind in my book.  Get your shit together or find somebody else because I have a list of those who would be happy to take your place.

Conversation with an ex

I am still friends with my ex-boyfriend from about ten years ago.  He was a good guy.  We just didn't work out.  He's also friends with my daughter who is getting married in a couple of months.  I reached out to him to see if he is coming, and we caught up on what else is going on in our lives.

One thing led to another, and I found myself telling him about my new website.  He has been hinting (overtly) for a long time that he would like to be a friend with benefits.  I haven't been that interested because I have a few of those, and I was feeling like this was played out.  We got off the phone with him saying that he was going to go look at my website.

A few minutes later he called me back, and this time he got right to the point saying, "I really want to fuck you.  I mean it."  Hmmm.  Do I want to go down this path?  When it was good, it was really good, but when it was bad, it was...not so good.  I told him I wouldn't rule it out, but that he would need to give me a few days notice to think about it.

Now I'm wondering...do I or don't I?  It's not like I want a relationship with him or anyone else.  We've been over for a long time, although it's only been three years since the last time we had sex.  I'm considering it.  Anybody reading want to weigh in on whether or not I should do this?  I'm talking all suggestions and advice under advisement.

The Good and The Bad (so far) of Dating and Sex/Swinging Sites

I am a member of and subscribe to a lot of online dating and sex/swinging sites.  Some are great, some are good, some are ok, and some are bad...at least so far.  From a single, bisexual, swinging female's perspective, these are my thoughts.  Links to most of these sites can be found on my website www.diaryofaunicorn.com.

1.  Adult Friend Finder (AFF) - One of the best if you want a high volume of emails.  Real women seem to be scarce on this site, so men flock to them in droves.  Yes there are some whackos and nutjobs, but I have met more men, women, and couples from this site than any other.  Good way to meet single people and couples.  Not just for swingers.  You don't have to have a paid membership, but your activities are severely limited as a free member.

2.  Swing Lifestyle (SLS) - Although primarily a site for those in the swinging community, there are many people on here who also play one-on-one.  The quality of people are high, and the number of fakes are low.  As a single female you should get a lot of attention.  Again, you can have a free membership but will have access to many more features as a paid member.

3.  OK Cupid - Listed as a traditional dating site for people looking to date or seeking a relationship.  I have met and interacted with a number of great people from this site, and I do not have a paid membership.  An interesting note, though, is how many people have a "traditional" profile on this site and then a "swinger" profile on one of the other sites.

4.  Fetlife - A nontraditional site for those interested in fetishes of all types.  I haven't been a member for too long, but I am finding some of the postings about different fetishes fascinating and am virtually meeting a number of interesting people.  You do not have to have a paid membership to access most features.

5.  Club ASN - A new site for swingers that is building its membership base.  I like it because it has a new feel to it, but the current members seem to reside in major metro areas, particularly in Florida.  I hope they can increase membership throughout the country because I like the site.  Get in on the ground floor while the membership is free.

6.  CougarLife - The name says it all.  This site is primarily for older women (cougars) looking for younger men (cubs) for anything from casual hookups to longer term relationships.  I haven't been on the site for too long but have had some limited success.  I don't have a paid membership, and it seems that most of the other members (the cubs) do not, either, so communication is difficult at times.

7.  Bicupid - Billed as the premiere site for bisexual men, women, and couples to meet up.  I just recently joined this site and have had virtually no activity.  Maybe because I don't have a paid membership.  It seems to have a good membership, so I may try a one month subscription to see if it's really worth it.

8.  My Wild Lifestyle - Another new site for the swinging community.  It has an interesting concept that seems to combine a swinging site with more of a facebook type of feature.  Still focused in the major metropolitan areas I haven't yet found many people local to meet up with.  But the site, as far as I know, has free membership.

Feeling a little down today

So my third book has been published for a few days now, and it's not selling.  That has me a bit bummed.  I've also completed my website but am not really seeing any traffic.  I know, I know.  It's going to take time.  But today I am ready to give up on writing and the website, even though they are both new.

I am a swinger who writes about my adventures.  I am not a writer who swings to have material to write about.  There's a difference.  My swinging will continue even if I stop writing and my website gets no visitors.

On a positive note, I do have a meeting with a new couple tonight, and I have high hopes that maybe a drink may turn into a playtime.  Wish me luck...with all of it.

Fun with GoDaddy Support

As my website is still new I call GoDaddy customer support for help at least a couple of times a week.  They are the most helpful people.  For some reason I have always gotten men and never women who answer the calls.

Since my site is an "adult" site with explicit content I always warn them that they are going to be looking at a site that includes graphic images and nude photos, etc.  The guys seem to be even more helpful once they start poking around my site to help me.  I suspect my site has been passed around to the customer support people, and I always tell them that they need to purchase my books now that they have seen me naked...lol.

Other than that it was a typical day.  Since I just published my third book I am already working on my fourth.  I really get a kick out of reading some of the emails I receive, and if you haven't read my books, you should, simply for the entertainment value of the content that I include from these people.  I can't make this shit up!  I just write the books...

I was supposed to have an initial meet and greet tonight, but it got canceled due to a work conflict from the guy.  Oh well.  I have another scheduled for Friday with a new couple, and they have already confirmed.

Website and Third Book Now Available

Yesterday was quite the busy day.  I've been working on getting my website up and running, and I finally published it live.  The site is www.diaryofaunicorn.com.  Check it out.  It is an evolving site with changes being made regularly.  You will find pictures, information about me, my books and soon to be coming other products, etc.  Sign up for my mailing list for free to get discount coupons and be notified of specials.

I am currently working on my fourth book and meeting new people.  Yesterday I was supposed to have two coffee meet and greets.  The first one happened with a young man...definitely below my age guidelines, but there are always exceptions.  It went well, he was attractive, intelligent, and witty.  He was also assertive (which I like) and asked for another date for next week where we plan to have more adult fun.

My second coffee date did not happen.  I did not get a confirmation from the man so I cancelled.  This morning I got a text saying that he had all kinds of personal issues going on and had to cancel.  I wished him well and told him maybe someday we will meet up if he gets his shit together.

One potential meet up tonight, but that is yet to be determined.  Still waiting on him to confirm.  I hate people who cancel or drop the ball.

Welcome to the Diary of a Unicorn
